Christingle - Monday 24th December @ 3:00pm

christingle
Please come and join us at our Christingle celebrations at St Barnabas church at 3:00pm on Monday 24th December.

The Children’s Society first introduced Christingle to the Church of England in 1968, and it has since become one of the most popular events for families and communities in the church calendar. The Children’s Society relies on the vital funds raised through Christingle celebrations to fund their work with vulnerable children and young people in our community and across the country.

Christingle, meaning 'Christ light', is a festive celebration which communicates the Christian message in an inspiring way. Children are at the centre of the service and celebrate the light of Christ through candles and other symbology of the Christingle orange.
