Sign the BIG card to the Queen
2012 is a BIG year for Her Majesty the Queen, who after 60 years on the throne is already the second-longest reigning British Monarch ever (after Queen Victoria).
To mark 60 years of The Queen’s reign, the Diamond Jubilee will take place in 2012, with celebrations centering on an extended weekend from 2 to 5 June.
As Supreme Governor of the Church of England, The Queen is very special to the Church family, so the three diocesan bishops and the Dean of Winchester have decided to send her a very special BIG thank you card, which everybody in the diocese will get a chance to sign!

St Barnabas Prayer Meeting - 27th February
The next meeting will be held on Monday 27th February at 8:00pm in the Honeycomb. Everyone is welcome.
Mothering Sunday - 18th March
We will be holding a special service for all Mothers on Sunday 18th March at 9:15am. All are welcome.
Mothering Sunday was traditionally when children who were working away form home were given a day off to visit their mother and family. Today it is a day when children give presents to their mothers such as flowers and home made cards. So why not bring your family to church and every lady who comes to church will receive some flowers. (Homemade cards available for colouring in!)
Mayors Service - Sunday 25th March
The Mayors Service will be held on Sunday 25 March at 3:00pm
Don Benham is Yateley mayor this year and has asked to have his mayor service at St Barnabas Church. Rev Mike Saunders is thrilled to have been asked to speak and will be trying to pick up David Cameron’s challenge to clergy to “speak about Christian values”.
